Hello, hello, he llo! 

May brings us flowers and Mother's Day. 

It also brings us the next MVP which the TDs have chosen 

Im _Already_Gone.

The winner for the most games played is Inatrance at: 212 games.

The winner for the most games won is Titleistseemore at: 44 games.

Mr Bob, bless his heart, 

came in second for both parts! 

He was breathing down both of their necks, 

so Crack, Bill, and I decided to award him 

a second place prize.

But wait! Jbaby was right on top of Mr. Bob. 

She was literally 3 games behind him! 

We talked about that, too, and we decided 

not to let her efforts go unnoticed, either, 

and gave her a 3rd place win.


We're going to celebrate our Mother's Day 

tournaments the first week of May since Mother's Day

  falls on that Sunday, the 10th. 

On the 15th of May we're going to do 

two or three pizza parties 

to celebrate National Pizza Day. 

And, May 28th is 

National Hamburger/ Cheeseburger Day 

so we will do a couple of cheeseburger/fast food 

tournaments on that day, as well



My favorite mother's Day story is from 

when my daughter was about 13. 

We were arguing about something 

while I was cooking dinner and 

she wouldn't let up. 

I reached in the cabinet and pulled 

out the garlic and sprinkled it on her head, 

and made hissing noises. 

She asked what I was doing and 

I told her I was giving her 

the mother's curse so that 

she would have a daughter just like her!



She started crying and telling me, 

"Don't do that to me!"


I told her it was too late;

 it was already done. 

So she sank to the floor like she was melting, 

crying, and saying "Noooooooo!" 

Then she jumped up and 

stormed off to her room. 

As she went, she said, 

"Fine! I'm not going to have any children at all, 

and it's all YOUR fault!"



Fast forward 35 years;

every time the grand-duck misbehaves, 

I just smile, and yes,

 I do encourage the misbehavior. 

That's what grandma ducks are for. 

My daughter gives me dirty looks, 

though... she knows - she has been cursed!'

Anyway, happy Mother's Day, ladies... 

we love you all!
